On my daily trek from my home in Mount Maunganui to my work in Tauranga, I take the old road that was used to get to The Mount before they build the Tauranga Bridge. Some would say the bridge would be faster (I’m not convinced), but I mainly go this way because of the stunning view along SH29 (and I can drive at 100km/hr with no traffic lights). Many a time I’ve framed up images in my head as I drive along that highway. So, as any motivated photographer does, I grabbed my camera one day and headed down as the light was getting sweet.
